No, I think that if your average family was worried that their son or daughter might stop being a CPA or a computer programmer and go carry a gun and put their lives on the line of the country they would be more reluctant to let the US go to war on a whim.

isn’t that kinda what i said, minus the economy-killing part? families already had members in the military…no need to speculate. how did they vote?
