Honestly? I don’t understand how someone can hit something moving that fast that is that far away from below and blind a pilot.

I imagine if you can get a clear trajectory to the cockpit. Low flying aircraft on approach or take-off. Surrounding higher ground. From the tops of buildings, etc.
