yes, this sounds right. My major is history. My education has been very liberal arts driven. My mom whom was lower middle class was a business major and wants me to use my degree to get something stable and well paying.

U.S. history/poly sci major here. My parents aren’t rich but they never struggled to make ends meet. My dad, however, grew up in a low-income family (I hesitate to call them poor, since there was always food on the table). I’m hoping to get into law school. If not, I’ll have to become one of those insidious parasites, otherwise known as teachers.
