Greets and saluts from the NYC metro area; home to the World Champion NY football Giants. Kudos to the team and am really looking forward to seeing tomorrow’s parade from my office along the Canyon of Heroes. Gonna be fun.

The game was a nail biter to the end, and it’s amazing that after rattling off 16 completions in a row during the 2-3d quarters, Brady couldn’t get the key receptions in the final minute to get them where they needed to go. Still, amazing end and Eli ends all questions about his game for all time. You don’t go and win 2 super bowls without doing something special during those seasons and down the stretch. MVP twice in the Super Bowl. Yeah, I’d say so.

What wasn’t so mvp? The ads.

There were a couple of good ones. The Volkswagen dog ad that was a meta for the Star Wars ad was fun (and played on last year’s theme too). The Doritos dog burying the cat and bribing the owner was funny (and done by an amateur in the Doritos contest to boot!).

Just saw the Clint ad and thought it was okay.

Thought that the Fiat Aberth commercial was funny (the very attractive Italian woman with the schlub oogling the car at the end). Very Italian and true to the car.

But for among the worst? The Caddy “green hell” commercial. Sorry, but car enthusiasts don’t need the nickname for Nrburgring. Just say the name. You lose street cred with me when you’re gearing for enthusiasts (and there’s something more authentic when you call it by it’s Teutonic name). It’s a commercial that had potential, and just washed out.

The Go Daddy commercials have worn thin.
