But you can bet that the GOP is going to try to lay the blame at Biden’s feet, even though the exact same thing would’ve happened in the Spring under Trump’s withdrawal timetable. Biden was correct to not just let this continue to fester after 20 years of war, and the timing is good politically as well. No-one in America is going to give a damn about Afghanistan by the time the midterms roll around.

My take—All we should have done is go in, take out Bin Laden and get the fuck out. The Neocons who got us into this mess should be held responsible for their actions and never again should they be allowed to fuck us up.
