I agree with you that she ought’a be left alone, but I think she’s in DC because Mama told Michelle she wanted new digs. There were plenty of child care options in the WH.
And I don’t think the taxpayers should support her there… after all, one auntie illegally freeloading in Boston should be enough.

I really don’t care what the family discussions were—that’s not my business—and in Michelle’s shoes, I would much rather have my mother than a nanny looking after my kids.

As for the paying for her bit, I’ll leave that up to the White House people and their attorneys. It’s really low down on my current list of concerns.

It just seems to me that people are getting desperate and crazy when they try to get at a man by attacking his mother-in-law. And all the complaints about Mrs. Robinson I’ve seen have had a not-so-subtle racial overlay to them.
