re: #364 Cannadian Club Akbar
How did your day-of-labor go?
When I was about 10, my uncle had a cabin cruiser. Since I was the youngest (i.e., smallest) male in the family, it was my job to scrape and paint the very bottom of the hull as the boat was on dry-dock
Once the boat was in the water and taken out for the 1st time that season,, HORRORS,,, no sonar !! (vital in the shallows of Boston Harbor, where you could go from a depth of 30 fathoms to 3 justlikethat)
Took the boat back out of the water to see what the malfunction was
Lo and behold, someone had painted over the device!!
((innocent looking 10 year old pleading for his life!!))
