Greets and saluts from the NYC metro area. There’s a couple of old stories back in the news this morning. The FBI and NYPD are digging up the driveway, backyard, and basement of notorious mass murderer Sirius Black mobster Jimmy the Gent Burke.

If his name doesn’t quite sound familiar, maybe you’re more familiar with his movie persona - Jimmy Conway from Goodfellas. The FBI and NYPD are following up on a lead about whether Burke buried human remains or some of the famous $5m Lufthansa heist (the biggest heist in US history to that point). Nearly all of that was never recovered.

Halfway across the country, law enforcement is digging up a Michigan field looking for another Jimmy. Jimmy Hoffa. That’s based on a credible source.

Considering the huge number of alleged burial sites for Jimmy Hoffa, do you think that his parts were, um, scattered over a wide area?
