I think we will see more than an uptick in RWNJ violence. The scale will be re-calibrated when one of these armed “open carry” demonstrations results in a massacre, probably of Muslims but possibly of a different target group, with immigrants at especially high risk. These events are carefully stage managed but you can’t have hundreds of armed idiots milling around with deadly weapons and not have a mass shootout sooner or later. The dynamics would be reminiscent of an old time lynching, with authorities loathe to use force against white rioters who cannot be stopped any other way.
