Yeah I admit I’ve explored the possibility he may be compromised but I think this could be old Occam’s at play. Someone who knows he never had the TP’s trust going all pro-Trump agenda as possible for survivor. It reminds me of reading about the old leftists who rightfully condemned Lenin just like Lindsay sort of did with the Tea Party but defended Stalin just like Lindsay and Trumpism. I do think what has people curious is how quickly and abruptly it happened tho.

A, he didn’t need the TPers for his last election; the closest any of them got to him in the primary was 15%. B, those of us who have watched him closely over time have long recognized that he primarily wants tv face time. I will admit that he’s gone totally off the rails lately—I think he’s looking for the AG job, but who knows. He’s always been an equivocating, smarmy asshole.
