What is going on is that most of our “healthcare expenditure” is going to line the pockets of greedy corporations and their shareholders and not to, you know, ACTUAL HEALTHCARE.

That, our lifestyle is so shitty that no amount of money spent on intervention can extend life beyond our 70s for most of us, or the money is spent on a small minority of us to keep them alive into their 90s while many go without treatment and die 20-30 years earlier.

I think it’s that the healthcare spending is going to the privileged, while minorities and the poor die in their 50s and 60s pulling the average down.
