I always pose the question like this:

Either Joe Biden or Donald Trump will be president on Jan 20th, 2025. Do you have a preference between them?

If they answer yes, then great! They should vote their preference and not expect the rest of the country to do it for them.

If they answer no, then they are not serious people, and they don’t actually care about marginalized and vulnerable people around them.
