This is about painting Obama as a “victim”, set upon by those “evil conservatives”.

“Leaking” unsourced information about any President’s threat level is done for political reasons. Period.

It’s true that Obama’s campaign was based largely upon cowardly implications that anyone who disagreed with him must be a racist, that he was being unfairly attacked because of his name or his immigrant father, etc.

Nevertheless, I’m not sure this information can be so easily discounted. I haven’t read Kessler’s book. Maybe it’s all believable.
