I would rather make every attempt to adapt to a new world and survive than fiddle while Rome burns.

It would really help if the US got into cutting carbon emissions but that’s not going to happen. China and India certainly aren’t going to cut their emissions. Eventually Africa is going to want to industrialize and they aren’t going to watch their carbon output nor are any of the other upcoming areas of the world. World populations are going to continue to grow and need more cheap power.
I’m pretty fatalistic about the whole thing.
