Yeah, the lying sucks. But a week is actually a short time to lie about shit, going from the past. Look how long Clinton took.

Don’t get me wrong, if he resigns, or his district gets taken away, I won’t shed a tear.

But the damage is done. In a weird way, I think it’s making the right-wing overconfident. This has taken up all the oxygen in the news sphere; once this scandal recedes, the GOP is going to be right back where it was before.
