There’s a chance that the GOP ticket will be so bad that Republican voters just decide to “sit this one out” in 2012.

They’re stuck. If they nominate somebody capable of “rallying the base” then they’ll get spanked by moderates…..if they nominate somebody capable of reaching the middle, the base won’t even show up
