Yeah I would struggle with that. It’s too bad because I think I could be a decent history teacher.
If you know your subject well, and you enter the classroom with a plan, you’ve got it made. The trick is to learn when it’s OK to deviate from the plan to follow a particular thread in a class discussion, but not follow it so long as to go off a tangent.
As in everything else, experience helps.
