Generally speaking, the Southeast.
But I have friends and family in CA… just not that part of the state. We hadn’t heard a thing about it down here until the special report.
We’ve had almost the same thing, although without the damage, due to a neighboring state’s being nearly shut down when someone thought they saw an extinct woodpecker. Major construction, in the millions… hundreds of jobs for people who can ill afford to lose them… ground to a halt, by order of the EPA… all on a rumor. Still hasn’t recovered.
