The friggin birth certificate issue is a good example of people believing what they want to, if they like the insinuation.
No matter how many times the State of Hawaii tells us the truth, lots ‘o nuts continue to believe it, no matter what proof is offered. The fact that the birth certificate WaS released is completely ignored by those who choose to believe stupid.. same thing here.

You’re basically saying it doesn’t matter if the diary is left up or not, because the people that would believe it would believe it anyway. So you’re actually arguing against yourself with that statement.
