If that’s your argument, you really don’t know much about sports. CTE in soccer needs to be addressed. But 300 lb. people launching themselves like missiles into the heads of other players is NOT a part of soccer. It is an essential part of football.

Heading the ball is already being phased out of junior soccer, as well, since there are concerns that younger players can suffer injuries that way. It’s a reasonable/responsible approach to the problem IMO. Furthermore there’s relatively little evidence that repeated concussions are a big problem in soccer, beyond the fact that any physical activity is going to have its share of various injuries.

On the other hand, the NFL has gone out of its way to hide the extensive brain damage that occurs from participation. To say nothing of the overall physical degradation (knees, back, weight) that afflicts ex-players.
