Could be, and I don’t know the man’s mind except by impressions, but it does seem clear that he is building a following of the wrong sort, and not discouraging it.

That does make protestations against being misunderstood suspect.

Someone else is doing a good job lately of building a following of the wrong sort, and getting exposed for it here. Both men have a lot of defenders and socks spewing a lot of verbiage trying to disguise the stench.
