The gun bill is a good thing, IMO. It lets people who wish to carry concealed have their weapon where they can get it after work, rather than have to go home to get it. Nothing unreasonable there. Perry should have signed the texting while driving bill, though.

Never can tell when you might need that gun while driving. There must be a one in several hundred million chance of being car-jacked on any given trip, and if you don’t have the gun in hand at the time, the car-jacker will undoubtedly let you pull it from the glove compartment if you ask nicely.

Most people give up playing cowboys and other cowboys while still kids. Not in Texas apparently.
