Funny, but that reminded me when he said “more calm” why comparative adjectives aren’t used much anymore?

You hear it all the time. Why not just use “calmer”? Or is is so much easier to use 2 words instead of a word with 2 syllables? So many are using “more” because they don’t know the comparative word? Rant off.

I guess that’s because they sound Germaner.
