Has anyone been to/have recommendations for Must See places in Paris, Lyon and Avignon, France?

The Louvre has already been mentioned. Museé d’Orsay is another must see. Also Notre Dame, and Pere Lachaise (if the war and holocaust memorials there don’t make you weep, you don’t have a pulse). And if you’re able, a visit to Versailles would be well worth your time.
