There are no “moderate Republicans.” You’re lost in a partisan dream.

I can only think of three state GOP organizations that aren’t totally controlled by the far right: Connecticut, Delaware, and California. Perhaps there are others, but most states’ party (GOP) platforms and statements show the strong rise of the far right over the last few decades.
