I just got a call from a friend in Napa. There is a lady there claiming I’m the father of her baby. I just had to laugh. She probably doesn’t know I’ve been in Oklahoma for the last couple of years. I guess I’m a popular guy in Napa still. If she wants to sue me can I counter sue her? Where is Lawhawk?

It probably wouldn’t be worth the bother. If they can’t get service of process on you, they can’t get a judgment. But if you do get served, make damn sure you respond so you don’t get a default judgment entered against you. If you ignore it, in a few years you could end up owing tens of thousands of dollars you could be legally libel to pay even though you aren’t the father.
