A friend from High School posted on FB yesterday that her daughter is making the same amount she made at the same age - NOT inflation-adjusted, the same nominal dollar amount - pointing out how wages have not kept up with everything else.

Some of her friends immediately launched into diatribes about how this generation didn’t work hard enough, and wanted everything handed to them.

Then her son responded with just how tired he is hearing us Boomers talk about how HIS generation want everything handed to them, considering just how much more was handed to us. It was refreshing.
