heh…NM never had the migrant experience that CA has, then AZ after the Hover Dam was built…
for the record, I do not believe in some mass roundup and deportation exercise…one of the reasons I moved to NM was because it is the heart and soul of Hispanic culture in America, older by far and culturally richer than any other state…I am surrounded by Hispanics right here at home…I dig it…but these are old families who have been here for literally hundreds of years and consider themselves highly patriotic, for what it’s worth

I once knew a guy who married into one of those old Taos or Santa Fe families (I can’t remember which). It was like marrying into a dynasty.
