Have you looked at the Disney ‘princesses’, who are usually supposed to be teenage girls?

Not to mention that the message of most of their movies (Wulan and Brave excepted) is that you’re not worthwhile as a woman unless you find a guy, and you’re also not worthwhile unless you’re actually a princess.

You should check out the old Shirley Temple movies. A lot of the references were pretty naughty and by today’s standards would be considered very inappropriate.
