There is no credible threat to the 2nd. Nada. Well with a couple exceptions that the Supreme Court dealt with. But those local pols keep trying to all but ban gun possession in places like Dc and Chicago. The LAPD gun detail openly states they will not comply with a recent court ruling. (Sorry can’t link a phone conversation) You can sue LAPD for wrongly denying you a CCW permit. You can win in court. Then at the end of the year they will deny you the renewal and the court case starts all over again. They already have a ruling in your favor. WTF?

Who is the threat to my right to have a gun? Not the NRA. More like LAPD.

I’m not a fan of local law enforcement pulling this kind of stuff.

By “threat to the second” I meant specifically a repeal via the constitutional amendment process. Of course that is inconceivable now, but the NRA’s obnoxious crap is the kind of thing that could change this reality.
