Guess someone’s military tech isn’t up to Western standards.

Considering that the Russians have bombed medical facilities, civilians, and anyone not involved in IS or AQ, is it surprising that they lobbed a volley of cruise missiles at Syria but hit Iran “accidentally”. They are a proverbial bull in a china shop and collateral damage is something they exceed at.

If the missiles were launched from the Caspian Sea (the likely origination point), it makes more sense, since the missiles would first have to cross Iranian airspace, then Iraqi airspace, and then into Syria. So they probably had a batch of defective missiles (not exactly good for future sales).

If the missiles were launched from the Med or Black Sea, to miss your targets by two entire countries looks even worse. Either way, the Russians are showing that their bark while menacing is indiscriminate and likely to hit friend and foe.
