Such is life. And I doubt the latter will actually happen; it’s a possibility, but a remote one. I think it’s just likely to be a passive-aggressive sore point between my folks and I for years to come. I never expect to be able to convince them, but I refuse to be part of the silent majority. Mrs. Fish won’t speak openly, but she’s already argued with her dad against Drumpf, so she’s not as silent as she thinks she is.

You’re simply being true to the Christian principles they raised you with.
