My 12 year-old nephew is confirmed Covid positive. Got infected at his school where masks are banned. He feels like garbage and can’t smell or taste.

I’m hoping he stays out of the hospital because the hospital situation down here is…not good.

Also, his parents aren’t vaccinated because freedom.

i posted that a dear friend, her husband and mom all got covid. serious covid.
i assumed unvaccinated.

we had a chat
they thought they all had covid a year ago
so they thought they were protected
and so they didnt vax yet
they did mask, distance and mostly do everything right. they were vigilant enough
they think they know who brought it into their house and when one got it, all three did

yeah, shouldnt have assumed
and should have asked a professional whether to vax anyway
