Went fishing today for the first time in about 2 years. It was great to get out. I also got some really good pointers from a fellow fly fisherman today. Fly presentation is far more important than the cast. I really suspect he’s right.

Excellent. And your friend is right. I am a pretty lousy caster all in all, but have learned where and how. Most fish I have caught have been within 25’. And I have caught a lot of trout.
