I disagree with everything else in the post, but this part is spot on.

The chicken hawk wing of the right would certainly be a lot less eager to rattle sabers if they actually had a stake in it.

You’ve got a point, but I still don’t think the juice would be worth the squeeze. Just my opinion, take it for what its worth.
