And wouldn’t anyone rather have their grandmother taking care of kids rather than a stranger, non-family member, someone doing it only because they’re paid to?
That sounds to me like an excellent example of the ‘family values’ I hear republicans like so much.

I have no issue with this. The Obama girls were in the care of their grandmother a lot during the campaign, and it’s best for children to have stability. That she’s there to provide the girls with some of that is great, imo.
