My wife has to pay (and by that I mean I have to pay) almost $300 dollars a month for insurance for her, because of some bullshit pre-existing condition that’s not really a condition at all.

A family of 4 making $40K a year, with a mortgage and cost of living, would have a very hard time being able to pay that.

Now they won’t. It’s as simple as that.

But they wouldn’t be considered indigent.
