I’ve never found I had that much choice in a crowded elevator. If you are first on you go to the back and make room for more people. If last one, you have to stand in front, that’s the only room left.

I will never go to the back of an elevator, I will move over to the right or the left but never to the back.

That may have something to do with the fact that I am very short and I get claustrophobic if I am squashed up in the middle of a bunch of taller people.
