Yeah, there was nothing accidental about the ‘unprofessional’ ‘sarcastic’ ‘not a real lawyer’ letter. It was a, IMNSHO, masterfully laid out to cause elmo to lose his shit.

Lawyer letters don’t have to be written in impeccable legalese. Whoever’s calling it ‘unprofessional’, ‘sarcastic’, or ‘not a real lawyer’ (I assume that’s the Elonoi?) need to wise the fuck up. Initial demand letters, or cease-and-desist letters, are the one place where lawyers have free rein to write freely, before they have to resort to the legalese in court filings.
