Its a contest between breaking points. However, in such a contest fanatics always have the advantage. Hopefully the protesters are acting in waves so that once the Basiji are worn down they can be broken.

And remember, the Basiji line AMONG the people, like the “block captains” in Cuba. The residents KNOW who these Basiji are. If there were SO many people in my neighborhood as mad as they are, and I was a Basiji, I’d get the hell out.
