Hm, I guess I went to a tougher school. Our version of that line was: “I hid behind the door with a loaded .44”.

(If a kid sang that version today, he’d probably wind up on national news, and not in a good way.)

I knew one kid who had a version similar to yours, but mostly we sang the version I gave.
