Welcome, fatdaddy. I am planning a trip to Galveston in a couple of weeks. Are things more or less up and running as far as tourist accommodations go? Any suggestions for a nice place to stay?

Try my FAVORITE B&B in Galveston. I think they survived.

Eat at Mosquito Cafe (breakfast and lunch only), and Benno’s on the Beach (informal as in beach side). For high dollar but well worth it, try Paco & Rudy’s by the 1894 Opera House.
