I can’t see how people could see the evidence for evolution, or anthropogenic climate change, and not believe that these things are happening. However, all the time, people who have seen the evidence honestly just don’t believe it. Preconceptions can easily be more convincing to some people than their own eyes. That doesn’t mean all climate change deniers and creationists are being dishonest. Some of them are, to be sure, but many of them just don’t get it.
