I don’t think that’s the point. The point is that he was caught making blatantly racist comments on video. We all know that Republicans/Conservatives are fine with racists. They just hate it when it’s caught on tape.

They like to think of it as “race realism,” where their racism isn’t wrong because they’re just “telling it like it is.”
