Pace yourself? He certainly isn’t.

He wants to see if he can reach record low favorabilities.

Never mind that the polling has not stopped him. The GOP hasn’t stopped him. Checks and balances aren’t stopping him, and he’s still issuing EOs at a rate never before seen in the nation. Governance by diktat.

And they’re all the best people working for him. No one knows what anyone else is doing, why they’re doing it, and are lying their asses off while doing it (see Spicer and Conway).

Well, he’s on pace for a lot - at 18 in two weeks he’s on pace of 468 in his first year. FDR, by comparison, issued 573 executive orders in 1933 (he didn’t take office until March), which worked out to just under 14 orders per week. 468 executive orders would be third most all time, behind 1933 and 1934. Of course there was an actual depression going back then and the government needed to be drastically modernized to meet the very new and very real challenges we faced.
