I have some sympathy for the difficulty in responding when you are asked certain yes or no questions; for example, “Have you stopped beating your wife?” Situations are often more complex than an apparently straightforward question allows. That said, Kirstjen Nielsen really does present herself as someone who would have been quite comfortable in working under Vidkun Quisling, the traitor who ran Norway under the Nazis.

“Have you stopped bearing your wife” isn’t a yes-no question. It’s a logical fallacy and as such is impossible to answer.
