Given how short the deliberation was, I suspect the most likely outcome is that he will be acquitted of 2nd degree murder and convicted of the manslaughter charge. I’m about 50/50 on the 3rd degree murder charge.

That was my thought. If there were jurors who didn’t want to go 2nd degree, compromise would be a good way to get out of this. Full acquittal would mean riots in the streets. Police will still hammer down any celebrations because they have some systemic issues that need to be resolved.
