I haven’t really looked into the Michigan militias but just because they refused to cooperate with another militia doesn’t mean they might be good guys. Nobody hates crazy people more than other crazy people. Remember a few years ago when European far right nationalist parties tried to for an alliance? It quickly fell apart because they all ultimately wanted to exterminate each other.

No, but it does say something about the militia mentality. I think some are just hobbiests who want to be prepared if “Red Dawn” ever becomes a reality. Getting on the wrong side of the US Government kind of screws up that fantasy.
