For whatever reason, Pam keeps referring to this guy as ‘Gamal the Waiter’, or, ‘the waiter, Gamal’. I can only assume that he works, or worked at some time, as a waiter, but why she feels this is his most important characteristic escapes me.

Simply that she’s a bigot. It’s also rather childish coming from someone that wants to be taken seriously by CNN and other news channels but that’s been the typical behavior of the far-right in America. Most of them act like a bunch of teenagers in high school or junior high.
