I made the joke to my mom and dad about a riot in St. Paul should the Wild win their series at home (which they did) being the “politest riot ever.” At which point he piped up with some inane racist malarkey about violent riots in Indianapolis following Kentucky’s NCAA loss being predominantly “people of a certain persuasion, if you catch my drift.” Ugh. I love my dad, but really?

Agh. I mean. The rioting is really unfortunate but at the same time, I’m more bothered by this man’s death and the fact that it willl be a small miracle if his killer is even indicted.
